Books I want to read
Food for the brain, an escape to the unknown, magic, experience or pure fantasy, books are good for you. Except if they are very heavy hardcover, then they can damage your wrists or make you unconfortable while reading in your bed. Who reads at a table anyway?
Writting about anyway, those are the books I would like to read:
Ray Bradbury: The machineries of joy, because this is also the name of an album by British Sea Power
Margaret Drabble: any book, and there are plenty. This is a recommendation by my former English teacher, he was a very interesting person, I trust his recommendation even though this has been on my list for 4 years...
Julian Barnes: A History Of The World In 10 1/2 Chapters, well, I am not that sure about it now. I used to like Julian Barnes 20 years ago, and I read England England that was sitting on my shelves for years, I found the book dreadfull like its main characters: dreadfull. A big win from an artistic point of view, a book that could forecast Brexit, so a big achievement from a sociopolitacal POV, but not a pleasant reading.
Bernard Sumner: Chapter and Verses, I a big Joy Division/New Order fan and read all the Peter Hook books, I'd be interested to know the other side of the story.
Murakami 1Q84 : I want to read al of Murakami books, they are so brilliant
